When we come to faith in Jesus a miracle happens. God makes us part of something bigger. We are made a part of His body, the church. Like it or not, we are connected to each other through our faith in God.
From the very beginning we see that Christians experience and live out God’s gift of eternal life together. We are meant to share life together as the family of God. Life in Christ is a shared journey. We share the work. We share the reward. We share the blessings. We share the difficulties.
Sunday morning worship is important, but it is only the beginning. Every believer needs to be a part of a small group where vital, Spirit-formed relationships can grow and develop. We are not going to heaven alone, so learning to rely on each other starts today!
Now is the time to find a group or an activity where you can take the next step in your walk with Christ. Every group has one or more spiritual growth number designations that correspond to the eight characteristics of a growing disciple (on page 3) to help you find a group or activity that is right for you.
